Legal & General presents plans for early infrastructure at land north of Horsham
Initial plans for the first phase of a sustainable new community at land north of Horsham were presented by Legal & General at two drop-in events in the town last week.

Events planned to update community on proposals for land north of Horsham
An update on plans for the land north of Horsham site will be shared with the local community at drop-in events this November, Legal & General announced on 24 October.

Initial preparation works begin at land north of Horsham
On Monday 7 October, work will begin to carefully remove hedgerows on the north side of the A264 / Rusper Road roundabout before construction of an improved roundabout starts in early 2020.
The improved roundabout is key to the delivery of the new Bohunt Horsham School on the north of Horsham site. A planning application for the new school was submitted by the Department for Education in August 2019 and the school is expected to open in September 2021.Read More→
What are we proposing?
The site is located on land north of the A264 in Horsham. It has planning permission for a sustainable development including:
- 2,750 new homes in a range of sizes and tenures, including affordable housing
- 500,000 sq ft of new employment space
- An education campus for Bohunt Horsham School
- A new sports hub
- New pedestrian, cycle and road connections
- Extensive green space and landscaping
