Masterplan developer Liberty Property Trust is calling on local people and clubs to help shape plans for sport and recreation opportunities at North of Horsham, with the town set to benefit from major new facilities as part of the sustainable new community.
Planning Inspector praises sustainable approach
Masterplan developer, Liberty Property Trust has set out its vision for ‘North of Horsham’ saying that its aim is to create swathes of open green space throughout its proposed development to the north of Horsham.
As part of its c.£400 million investment to meet the district’s long-term growth needs, Liberty’s vision, for a sustainable and sensitively designed expansion of the town, would deliver around 2,500 new private and affordable homes on a 600 acre site north of the A264.
More than 4,000 jobs would be created by plans for a new business park to be delivered by Liberty Property Trust as part of its £400 million investment at ‘Land North of Horsham’.
As a direction for growth, Land North of Horsham was recently endorsed by a Government-appointed Planning Inspector as part of the emerging Horsham District Planning Framework.
Message from Andrew Blevins, Managing Director of Liberty Property Trust UK
Horsham District Planning Framework – many people will know it simply as HDPF – is the Council’s strategic vision for delivering growth and prosperity over the next 15+ years. It sets out where local people will live, where businesses and jobs will go, and how infrastructure and services will support this growth. A sustainable development on Land North of Horsham is a key part of the Council’s plan.
